PRINCE2 Project Management Certification: The Successful Candidate Register

28 Mar 2024 By

Introduction

The APMG maintains a successful candidate register for all of its qualifications. Students who have passed either the PRINCE2 Foundation examination or the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination through an accredited PRINCE2 examination provider can choose to be included in the register on the APMG website.

Candidates who have passed the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination are able to include “PRINCE2 Practitioner” on their business cards, and this official PRINCE2 Practitioner list provides a valuable means of checking and validating such claims.

More generally, however, the successful candidate register enables potential employers to verify a job candidate’s project management qualifications. It also records the date on which an exam was taken, and the accredited training company used, as well as the candidate number and the date when the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification expires. This latter information is particularly important when applying for the PRINCE2 Practitioner re-registration qualification.*

PRINCE2-qualified candidates are included in the successful candidate register according to an opt-out policy. If you do not wish to be included in the register, then you must check the Data Protection box on the Candidate Details form, when registering for your PRINCE2 examination. If you decide at a later date that you do wish your name to appear on the PRINCE2 register, or you would like your details to be altered, then you must contact the APMG regarding the desired changes.

*Please be aware that it may take up to three weeks for your name to appear in the successful candidate register, following the release of your exam results.
