Travel to and from Bradford
Bradford Foster Square
The West Yorkshire Metro’s major railway station are the Forster Square and Bradford Interchange stations.
The significant reconstruction of the city centre in the 1960s provided an opportunity to connect the metro stations; however, with large buildings constructed along the proposed line of route in the 1990s, this did not take place.
Bradford’s bus network is served by First Bradford and Arriva Yorkshire. Bradford Interchange bus station offers long-distance coach travel to cities across the UK.
Bradford Interchange bus station
Bradford is only 6 miles from Leeds Bradford Airport. The airport offers routes to cities across Europe.
In 2018, Leeds Bradford airport was the 15th busiest airport in the UK. Bus services to Bradford link the airport with Bradford Interchange and Bradford Forster Square stations and connect with long-distance coach services from Bradford Interchange.
