When to expect your exam results

Normally, the invigilator will mark your answers at the end of the exam. He/she will then give you your provisional result. This means that you can leave the exam room knowing whether you have provisionally passed or failed.About two weeks after the exam, the PRINCE2 exam board, APMG, will issue your confirmed result. It is unlikely to differ at all from your provisional result. If the APMG confirms that you have passed the exam, you have achieved the PRINCE2 Foundation qualification and will receive the PRINCE2 Foundation certificate, by post, about four weeks afterwards.If you want to take the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam, you can take it at any point after passing the Foundation. Some people choose to take both exams during the same day or week; others leave much longer periods of time between them.In our experience, a candidate who scores 50 marks or more in the Foundation exam will have a very good chance of passing the Practitioner exam.

PRINCE2 Successful Candidate Register

If you pass the PRINCE2 Foundation exam, your exam date, candidate number, name, and training company (if applicable) will be recorded in the PRINCE2 Successful Candidate Register, which can be consulted on the APMG’s website.Your mark in the exam will not be revealed on the register. Additionally, you will not appear on the register if you do not pass the exam.The register is accessible to the public. It enables potential employers or other individuals to verify your Foundation qualification. If you do not want to be included in the register, you can opt-out of it on the candidate details form, which you will fill in before taking the exam.
